TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL — Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. was warmly welcomed by Boholanos during his visit to the province this Wednesday, May 7, as part of his senatorial campaign.

His day began with a motorcade in the city, where the citizens who showed their support for Revilla were remarkable.

In Tagbilaran City, Revilla met with the mayors of Bohol to discuss the major issues facing the province.

In his statement, Revilla emphasized the importance of growing tourism, developing agriculture, the welfare of farmers, and providing protection to workers and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

“We don’t just need a law that sounds good—we need a law that ordinary Filipinos can feel in their daily lives. Thank you for the warmth of your welcome here in Bohol. You have strengthened me even more to fight for laws that are truly humane.”

As part of his pledge, the senator assured that he will push bills that are close to the stomach—advocates that are practical, within reach, and have a direct impact on the lives and livelihoods of the people.

Revilla’s visit to Bohol is part of his extensive campaign to regain the trust of the people for another term in the Senate.
