Sandugo 2011 streetdancing competition (Updated)

The last time I watched the Sandugo streetdancing competition was in 2007. Today, July 31, Ajade (my nephew), Floricar (my cousin) and I have watched the Sandugo 2011 streetdancing competition. We just gave it a try..hehehe

Scene: There were only 8 contingents which joined the streetdancing competition. It was not a streetdancing but a street parade. Many of the contingents preferred to walk rather than to perform to save their “best performance” in the showdown inside the CPG Complex.

Scene: The contingents from Carmen and Antequera had the colorful costumes. The rest were boring.

Scene: Bohol Kapuso night mobbed by fans. Hordes of people went closer to take pictures of the Kapuso stars during the parade. They wanted to see Katrina Halili. People followed them during the parade.

Scene: There were many sponsors who joined the streetdancing parade than the contingents.

Scene: The sponsors like Efficasent Oil had the unique float float, in a dinosaur era with the Cebu Sto. Niño.

Scene: Wail (as in wala ilhi) the models of Globe-TM and, DPC Yellow Pages who joined the street parade.In fairness, other girls were sexy and seductive.

Seen: Sen. Loren Legarda was the guest of honor of the Sandugo Street Dancing Competition.

Scene: Tagbilaran City Mayor Dan Neri Lim didn’t attend the Sandugo 2011. He was represented by Vice Mayor Jas Montes. Mayor Lim has “rift” with Gov. Edgar Chatto who gave the welcome address.

Scene: Miss Bohol Sandugo 2011 Farrah Maye Mian and her royal court Ely Rose Apple Angcon and Aimee Ann Anunciado were on stage.Their first public appearance after winning the crown on July 16.

Scene: Bohol's Queen of Media Ardy Batoy and her sister Gloria Leodivica Araneta proved that they're Bohol's best emcees. Sister power!

Scene: The chairman of the streetdancing committee for the nth time was Ms. Carmen Gatal.

Scene: Tagbilaran City Deputy Mayor Mar Uy asked Sen. Loren Legarda to sing, however, Loren politely said "no."

Scene: People didn’t understand Gloria Araneta when she asked the crowd (in English) to give space to the performers. American kasi e, nasal to the natives.

1st runner-up: Catigbian
